As a Dual Enrollment student, you have the opportunity to take college classes at your own high school and graduate from high school with enough credits to be well on your way to earning a college degree. Some high school students earn certificates of completion and/or an associate's degree along with their high school diploma!
Benefits include:

The table below highlights recommended college courses that align with your high school academy and support your academic pathway. Make a copy of this Education Plan to map your courses and begin making progress toward completing the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC).
The AGEC is a group of general education courses required for all Maricopa associate degrees. It transfers to Arizona's public universities—including ASU, NAU, and the University of Arizona—helping students stay on track for a bachelor's degree. Arizona residents who complete the AGEC with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher are guaranteed admission to one of the state's public universities.

Each CTE program leads to college and career pathways, giving students the opportunity to earn industry certificates and dual enrollment credits.
