Our Community Engagement Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is comprised of:

  • Community Partners
  • Faculty & Staff
  • Students
  • Center for Community & Civic Engagement Staff

They meet monthly to discuss many opportunities: service-learning, volunteerism, upcoming events and news. In addition, they vote on decision-making issues for the Department. The Board joins together to foster positive change.

Board Purpose

The Community Engagement Advisory Board consists of students, faculty, staff, and community partners collaborating to educate and address social issues as well as share resources to create opportunities to strengthen our community. The Board recommends policies, procedures and practices that support the Center for Community & Civic Engagement.

Fall 2021 Dates

  • September 21, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm
  • October 19, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm
  • November 16, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm

Spring 2022 Dates

  • Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm
  • Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm
  • Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm

Location: Currently these meetings will be conducted virtually via WebEx. Link will be sent prior to each meeting.
