Apply for Scholarships

Scholarships are a great way to help cover education expenses but first, you have to apply.

You can find available scholarships on MCC's Scholarships page. Other scholarships may be offered by community organizations, local businesses, religious organizations, your employer, or your parent's employer. You can also do an online search for scholarships, but before you apply for any scholarship, make sure you read Scholarship Applications to Avoid.

SAP Appeal Process

If it has been determined that you have not met Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), you will not be eligible for financial aid which consists of grants, federal work-study, all student loans including PLUS and private loans, and certain scholarships. However, you may submit a petition to apply for a reinstatement of your financial aid eligibility.

The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program is funded by the federal government. This funding provides employment opportunities for students with financial eligibility, allowing them to earn money to help finance the cost of their education.
