If you are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at MCC you can continue to receive the Honors Achievement Award or the Presidents' Honors Scholarship as you are in good standing with the Honors Program (continue to meet eligibility for the scholarship).
Presidents' Honors Scholarship (PHS)
During your 4th semester of the PHS scholarship notify Lanae Jackson [email protected] that you will be continuing at MCC to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. If you continue to meet eligibility (12 credits per semester, 3.25 cumulative GPA, 2 co-curriculars per semester) the scholarship can be continued for an additional 4 semesters. The PHS scholarship will pay for your 15 most expensive credits. You will be responsible for any additional tuition or fees.
Honors Achievement Award (HAA)
The HAA Scholarship can be continued as normal. Just sign up for an Honors Class or submit an Honors Contract for one of your regular classes each semester. Then maintain eligibility (3.25 GPA, 1 co-curricular each semester, 1 honors class/contract each semester, minimum of 6 credits each semester). The scholarship currently pays between $244 and $500 per semester depending on the number of credits you are enrolled in (6 - 12+).
