AY26-27 Peoria High School Dual Enrollment Schedule
As a Dual Enrollment student, you have the opportunity to take college classes at your own high school and graduate from high school with enough credits to be well on your way to earning a college degree. Some high school students earn certificates of completion and/or an associate's degree along with their high school diploma!
Benefits include:
- Affordable tuition - a single credit is 75% less than the cost of in-state universities
- No textbook fees
- Tuition assistance for eligible students: Maricopa Grant
- Course/credit transfers to state universities and many out-of-state schools
Career and Technical Education
Career and Technical Education is about doing, creating and innovating. Students in our programs take what they learn and apply it to something tangible, like building robots or extracting DNA. Every program is hands on, and every program gives students the foundational skills to move forward in a career pathway. Each CTE program leads to college and career pathways, giving students the opportunity to earn industry certificates and dual enrollment credits.

High Value Academic Courses for Maricopa College Degrees and University Transfer
The table below highlights recommended college courses for your academic pathway. Make a copy of this Education Plan to map your courses and begin making progress toward completing the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC).
The AGEC is a group of general education courses required for all Maricopa associate degrees. It transfers to Arizona's public universities—including ASU, NAU, and the University of Arizona—helping students stay on track for a bachelor's degree. Arizona residents who complete the AGEC with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher are guaranteed admission to one of the state's public universities.
