Halloween Booths Needed!
You're invited to join us for the 13th annual Red Mountain Halloween Extravaganza!
Important to note: This year, we'll be holding the Halloween Extravaganza on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 from 5:30-8:30 pm.
Here's what we will need from our community to help make the event another smashing success:
- Themed Trick-or-Treat booths: Sign up here for a table! We will be looking for 25-30 different groups (student groups, departments, clubs, etc) who are willing to organize and staff a themed booth. Those running the booth will be responsible for coming up with a theme, decorations, costumes, and an activity that kids can do at their table. There have been so many creative booths over the years, and we can't wait to see what our campus community and our students come up with this time!
- Candy donations: This event relies very heavily on candy donations from our campus community, both Red Mountain and Southern/Dobson. Donations can be delivered to the Student Life office at either campus, or the Instructional Support offices at Red Mountain. Receipt of donation will be provided for those offering extra credit. *No gum please.
Check out some photos of past Halloween Extravaganzas--join us for the fun again this year!

What is THORSDAY?
Thor the Thunderbird is the MCC mascot.
The Thunderbird is a legendary creature in certain North American indigenous peoples' history and culture.
Thursday, "Thor's day" is named after the hammer-wielding Norse god of thunder, strength, & protection...THOR.
Therefore, Thursdays at MCC are now know as THORSDAY!
Wear your favorite Thunderbird gear every Thorsday, greet your friends with "Happy Thorsday," and find your own ways to celebrate your Thunderbird pride. Do you have your Thorsday shirt? Stop by Student Life!
