Join the Center for Community & Civic Engagement for our next Civic Action Hour on Tuesday, September 29, from 12-1:15 p.m. via Zoom.
Civic Action Hour is a virtual series that brings students, employees, and community members together to learn about issues affecting our communities. Each session offers a chance to hear from a guest speaker, ask questions, and explore ways to get involved.
This session features Rocio Patino, an East Valley community organizer with LUCHA (Living United for Change in Arizona). Rocio will discuss LUCHA’s work in immigrant advocacy, its approach to civic engagement, and ways people can take action in their communities.
This is an approved Honors co-curricular event. Please share this opportunity with students and colleagues!
