Tutoring In-Person Hours and Locations

Welcome to the Summer 2026 Semester!

The Learning Enhancement Center is excited to support your academic success this semester! To make tutoring convenient, we offer multiple locations across campus, each focused on specific subjects so you can get the help you need close to your classes.

Tutoring is available to current MCC students and is provided only for courses in which the student is currently enrolled at MCC.

What to Do When You Arrive at a Tutoring Center:

  1. Check in at the welcome desk of your selected center. You’ll receive a subject tent to use during your visit. For the Writing Center, please also fill out an intake form detailing what you need help with
  2. Bring all necessary materials to help you and the tutor understand the assignment such as assignment sheets, rubrics, instructions, samples, textbooks, or notes.
  3. Find an available seat and begin working.
  4. When you’re ready for help, set your subject tent in the vertical position to signal a tutor that you need assistance. For the Writing Center, enter your name on the queue list to wait for a tutor.
  5. Tutors rotate between students and cannot spend extended time with just one individual. You’re encouraged to ask questions, work independently, and then seek additional help as needed throughout your visit.
  6. If the center is reaching capacity, a desk assistant or tutor may inform you of a two-hour time limit for your visit.
  7. Check out at the front desk when you’re finished with your visit.
