Job Summary:

Mesa Community College is hiring several Desk Assistants positions to work in the Fall 2021 semester. These positions provide reliable clerical assistance and outstanding customer service in the Learning Enhancement Center.

Essential Functions:

  • 60% Greets and logs students in and out for Center usage; provides front-line customer service; schedules tutoring appointments; monitors the virtual front desk.
  • 25% Answers/routes incoming calls; tracks Center resources; provides clerical assistance; performs data entry.
  • 15% Connects students with tutors; stocks center with materials; performs duties commensurate to grade level of position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be an MCC student in the Fall 2021 semester.
  2. Possess customer service orientation.
  3. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Basic knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Federal Work Study applicants preferred.
