New Student Orientation is an important step in preparing for your first semester at MCC. You’ll learn how to navigate the tools, systems, resources, and expectations that will help you get ready for your classes and your first days on campus.
During orientation, you will:

- Learn about college expectations, student rights, and responsibilities
- Explore important student resources and learn where to go when you need support
- Learn about paying for college and financial resources
- Discover ways to connect with the MCC community
- Get information about important next steps before your semester begins
Whether you’re coming to MCC straight from high school, returning to college, transferring from another institution, or starting college for the first time, New Student Orientation is designed to help you feel prepared to begin.
How to Register
Live Orientation Options
Join us for an interactive New Student Orientation experience. We offer multiple session options in the month of January 2027. The Spring 2027 program is approximately 90 minutes and is designed to focus on the information and connections that are most important as you prepare to begin your classes at MCC. Online Orientation Course
Prefer to complete orientation on your own schedule? Our self-paced online orientation course covers the same core topics and learning outcomes as our live orientation experience, allowing you to prepare for MCC when and where it works best for you.
