Magic of Musical Theatre Workshops

Enjoy two fun filled Musical Theatre/Movement Workshops for K to 12th graders. Each session will culminate in a Dazzling Broadway Musical performance! Classes will stress techniques in singing, dancing and acting. Each student (except for MMK) will be required to bring a recording device and wear loose, comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. We will strive to maintain a gender balance. First come, first served!

Please carefully follow the 3 necessary steps to register for the workshops

  1. Please complete one of the following online applications:
    Workshop I Application 2024 (5th - 12th grade)
    Magic Music Kidz Application 2024 (K - 4th grade)
  2. Identification (ID) Authentication Form - 14 years and older MUST provide Picture ID for Student Identity Verification. (If you are a returning student and already provided a Photo Id, you DO NOT have to provide it again.) Please see the Identification (ID) Requirements list for acceptable documents here.
  3. Parent/Guardian Financial Responsibility Form

Please print, complete and sign the Parent/Guardian Financial Responsibility Form, submit it and the Photo ID in only one of the following manners:

Registration will NOT be completed until the above forms have been received. Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email with payment information. Your registration will be completed once we receive payment confirmation.

The Magic of Musical Theatre Workshop I
This INTENSE two week workshop is designed for 5th-12th graders (grade as of Fall ‘24) who love to sing, act and dance. Each participant will perform in large and small ensembles. Soloists will be chosen according to auditions and work ethic.

MMT Workshop I (Grades 5 through 12 as of Fall 2024)
Cost $325 (This includes workshop performance t'shirt)
If you qualify for multiple family discount (3 or more siblings), cost is $310 per student
Dates: June 3-15 • Days: Monday-Friday • Times: 1:30pm-5:30pm
Extended rehearsals on June 14-15 from 1:30pm-6:30pm

Performance Dates:
Friday, June 14 at 7:30pm
Saturday, June 15 at 6:00pm
Registration Deadline is May 20, 2024.

Audition Information
We will be holding post-registration auditions for Workshop I to efficiently cast participants in ensembles, trios, duets and solos. Be prepared to sing a one minute Broadway Show Tune designed to demonstrate singing ability, volume, range, diction and characterization. We take these auditions very seriously because this is how we choose soloists for main numbers.

Accompanist will be provided. Bring one copy of sheet music (if not memorized, bring two). * We do not accept tracks *

Magic Music Kidz
This is a two week musical theatre workshop for K – 4th graders (grade as of Fall ‘24). Through the use of Broadway Show Tunes your youngsters will explore singing techniques, choreographed movements and creative drama. This workshop will culminate in a live demonstration performance for all your stars-to-be to showcase their talent and skills.

Cost: $175.00
If you qualify for the multiple family discount (3 or more siblings), cost is $160.00 per student
Dates: June 3-12 • Days: M, T, W, Th, F • Times: 11:00am-12:50pm
