The in-person Multi-Use Computer Lab is currently now open Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.

Open Entry/MultiUse Computer Lab

The MultiUse computer lab is a fee-based lab. To access the lab, students must be currently enrolled in a class at Mesa Community College.

Students will be required to wear a mask at all times while in the lab. Cleaning supplies are available if needed.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Information Spring 2022

You do NOT need to make an appointment to use the lab, students can walk in any time during the hours we are open and use a computer. The lab is open to ALL students of MCC, as long as they have a student ID, they can use a computer.

Our lab assistants will be available to assist students in any way they are capable. We will be available to help students navigate through canvas, start their assignments, connect with tutoring and their instructor, answer general questions, as well as provide basic support with Microsoft products.

Currently students will need to bring their own headset if they wish to use audio for the computer, we are not providing headsets for students at this time. We do have a limited selection of books students can borrow.

The Thunderbird Tech Studio is also available Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 7 PM and Fridays, 9 AM to 3 PM. The Thunderbird Tech Studio is an online resource providing immediate assistance to students struggling with tech related issues. Online Lab

The online lab is a free resource available to students. A student will be connected with a Lab Assistant through Cranium Cafe. The Lab Assistants will be able to help students with any technical issues they may be encountering that are hindering online learning. Issues such as; setting up microphones and webcams, using Canvas, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex and Cranium Cafe. To access the online lab and connect with a Lab Assistant, select the link below:

General Rules

An MCC student I.D. card must be presented to log in to the lab.
To avoid liability issues and distractions to the other users, non-registered students or guests of any kind are not permitted in the MultiUse Computer Lab.
Only drinks with a secure cap are permitted in the lab and lab classrooms.

  • A mask must be worn at all times and social distancing is required.

  • No food is allowed in the lab or lab classrooms.

  • Access to the computer lab requires an MCC student ID card.

  • Please make and take all phone calls outside of the building. Cell phones should be set to quiet mode while inside the lab and classrooms.

  • Lab staff is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal possessions. If you must leave your workstation, we suggest that you take your belongings with you.
