Mid-Rise/High-Rise Incident- Command and Control Workshop
This 2-day workshop examines mid-rise/high-rise fire case studies and their command and operation procedures. Serious fires in a high-rise, sprinkler and standpipe quipped buildings are not an everyday occurrence. These are low-frequency events, with HIGH-risk consequences. History has shown time and again, high-rise fires and related emergency situations require enhanced strategy, tactics, and incident action planning. This program provides an overview of mid-rise/high-rise building construction, fire protection systems, fire control room operations, and stairway operations.
Six Mid-Rise/High-Rise simulation exercises:
- Fire attack
- Stairway Operations
- Lobby Control
- Search and Rescue
This is a simulation intensive workshop and participants will be required to make critical decisions in real time.
