It is critical that students are aware of their responsibilities in order to utilize their accommodations without scheduling issues or mishaps.
It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements for testing accommodations by completing an Alternative Testing Request in DRS Connect. Students using testing accommodations need to schedule exams/quizzes at least 3 - 5 business days prior to the class exam/quiz date.
When academic accommodations are needed, they are determined for each student on an individual basis by Disability Resources & Services(DRS) staff and designed through an interactive process involving the student, the instructor and any other appropriate offices. It is the responsibility of the instructor to implement accommodations in a timely manner.
