Welcome to the Mesa Community College (MCC) Performing Arts Operations for Theatre, PAC, and RAP Center.

Dr. Janet FeltonDr. Felton My name is Dr. Janet Felton and I am honored to serve as the Executive Director for the Arts at Mesa Community College (MCC). The rental and utilization of the facilities at MCC helps to ensure that our students continue to receive excellent education through scholarships and co-sponsorships that help make student dreams come true. With education at the forefront of our mission, we seek to develop and enhance opportunities for collaboration and coordination through rental use of the facilities. Our facilities are spaces of significant enjoyment for the community. We serve as the home for the Arizona Youth Ballet performances, Fred Astaire Dance Performances and many other local groups.

Our season performances include an expansive line –up of dance recitals, concerts, retreats, and conferences that highlights the diversity of talent we seek to provide to our community. This also reflects the expansive relationships that have been built while embedding the arts within the community. The Art/Theatre, and Dance facilities at MCC provide significant tangible results for our students, faculty, staff and community.

The elegant facilities are ideal for creating a lasting impression and a memorable event. The Arts at Mesa Community College (MCC) has three impressive venues for rent. First, the 462 seat Performing Arts Center that allows for recitals, retreats, conferences, weddings, receptions, concerts, and meeting space. This facility is equipped with state of the art technologies. The remodeled theatre seats just at 270 and has been a jewel at the college for over three decades.

RAP Center located in the Saguaro Building on MCC’s Red Mountain campus, offers a contemporary venue with stage and reception spaces. The RAP Center is a LEED Gold facility and reflects the surrounding Sonoran Desert in color, form and texture.

The vivacious environments at MCC will serve to celebrate, stimulate and cultivate our mission for the arts at the college while reflecting on our commitment to build awareness and improve the quality of life within our community. We hope you will join us to experience anyone of our many compelling provocative and diverse performances. We welcome your feedback as we seek to provide a diverse and unique mix of powerful, passionate and artistic experiences.

Available for rent to show promoters, and organizations wishing to host functions, and individuals celebrating weddings and other private events, MCC Performing Arts Operations is continuing to evolve as an additional resource to the college and community. We want to serve as the hub of artistic events/activities while inspiring individuals to be creative, and expressive. We look forward to you utilizing one of our beautiful facilities for your next event/activity.
