Credit by Evaluation, Course Substitutions, Credit by Examination
If you are a professional firefighter and wish to have professional training evaluated for college credit, you must provide copies of official training documentation or official training transcript outlining contact hours and course content. You can request credit by evaluation/examination or course substitute by contacting the Fire Science program at [email protected].
If you are a transfer student and wish to have other college Fire Science or EMT courses substituted, you must provide a copy of the unofficial transcript, as well as copies of the course curriculum and objectives.
To initiate a credit by evaluation, course substitution, or credit by examination, contact [email protected]. Forms and documentation will be evaluated by the Department Chair.
