Colors of the World - Colors of the World takes laser audiences on a musical journey around the planet. This matinee program, with a focus on the authentic instruments and sounds that make different countries' music unique and appealing. Colors of the World explores many styles of music and samples of cultures from around the globe.
Peter & The Wolf - Prokofief’s masterpiece in laser light. The story of Peter and his adventures comes to life through laser images and animation. “Peter and the Wolf” is an entertaining story that teaches children of all ages about music, and the instruments in an orchestra. Narrated by Sting, LFI’s Peter and the Wolf is a unique twist on this musical classic.
Celebration of Flight - Follow the budding flight enthusiast, Amelia, as she learns about the history and physics of flight from a quirky engineer and his sidekick. Flight inspired songs add extra fun to the mix.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - Jules Verne was an author with tremendous foresight who predicted the existence of some of our current technology a century before it was invented. In tribute we have utilized 21st century laser technology to revive his classic 19th century tale, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Experience the adventure and wonder of Jules Verne’s tale in spectacular laser light.

The line for seating forms approximately 15 minutes before show time. There is no late seating for planetarium shows. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of show time.
The planetarium is wheelchair accessible.
MCC Planetarium is on the south side of the Physical Science Building (PS 15). This building is just east of Dobson Road, on Planetarium Way north of the Dobson Road-US 60 interchange and one light south of Southern Avenue. Please see the map for our location on MCC's Southern & Dobson campus.
The Planetarium is labeled with "PLANETARIUM" in large black letters which are visible from Dobson Road and Planetarium Way.
Free parking is available in the lots south of the Physical Science Building.
