Music Camp

Registration is OPEN for the 2026 MCC Summer Music Camp!

May 26th - June 5th, Concerts on June 4th & 5th

Open to all current 8th-12th graders.

Registration is open through the first day of camp. If you have not completed the registration process we can help you at check-in on the first day. Please plan to bring a photo ID (school ID will work) and your parent/guardian.

General Camp Info

Camp will be held in the MCC Performing Arts Center (PAC). I recommend entering at the Longmore Way entrance 
The PAC address is 1520 S Longmore, Mesa, AZ 85202

If you are staying for both sessions please plan to pack a lunch. We have a refrigerator, microwave, and water fill station that will be available for student use. Please label your lunch if you plan to store it in the refrigerator. We will not be offering a lunch package for purchase due to low interest.

You will be provided with a name tag and music folder at check-in on their first day. Please make sure to bring your music folder as well as your instrument each day for camp. 

Check-in will open at 8:30am for Session 1 (Band Orchestra) and 12:30pm for Session 2 (Jazz) 

Registration Steps

  1. Fill out this form to get started. 
    1. You will receive a camp packet to the email you submit. Please submit your signed and completed packet in this form or bring it to check in on your first day.
  2. Apply to MCC as a "Non-Credit Student" for the Summer 2026 Session* (If you are already enrolled as a dual enrollment student you will still need to complete this step)
    1. Please note: when you get to the page titled “Select Primary College and Field of Interest” please be sure to select the following answers:
      1. Primary College of Interest: Mesa Community College
      2. Select a primary reason for attending this college: Take a Class (not pursuing a degree)
      3. Select a plan most aligned with your career and educational goals: Non Credit
      4. When do you plan to begin taking classes? Summer 2026
  3. Download the Duo App and set up Two-Factor Authentication* 
  4. Log in to the MCC Student Center with your MEID that was generated during the admission process.
    1. Check the "Student Forms" tile and complete any tasks under both "admissions records forms" and "high school and under 18" forms
    2. Return to the main menu and check the "task" tile - you may need to upload a photo of your photo ID (this can be a school ID)
      1. If the ID verification form does not load, you can verify your ID in person at the MCC Enrollment Center, or email [email protected] for an alternative form link
  5. Email your MEID to [email protected] to be enrolled in the class
  6. Once you have been enrolled in the class:
    1. Return to the main menu of the MCC Student Center
      1. Select “Financial Account” to pay your balance
    2. OR call (480) 461-7000 during business hours (8am-6pm, M-Th) and select Cashiers to pay over the phone by debit/credit card

  • 9-10am: Band/Orchestra Rehearsal
  • 10-11am: Instrument Masterclass with MCC faculty
  • 11am-12pm: Band/Orchestra Rehearsal

12-1pm: Lunch break
 

1pm-4pm Session 2: Jazz (open to all instruments)

  • 1-2pm: Big Band Rehearsal
  • 2-3pm: Jazz Topics (Theory, Improv, etc.)
  • 3-4pm: Jazz Combo Rehearsal
