Mission and Vision

Vision The Education Program at Mesa Community College provides education majors with the skills and knowledge to work with K12 community partners to provide personalized, inquiry-based and student-centered learning opportunities for K12 students.

Mission Education majors focusing on elementary education are offered diverse practicum opportunities and pedagogical training to excel in shaping young minds during these formative years. Education majors specializing in middle school education benefit from immersive practicum experiences and interdisciplinary approaches that prepare them to engage and support students during this pivotal stage of growth. Education majors concentrating on high school education engage in practicum experiences and professional development opportunities to become effective mentors and facilitators in preparing students for college and beyond.
