About The Internship

As a component of Mesa Community College, students can spend a semester as an intern at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, Florida as a Disney College Program participant. Interns will work closely with their instructor by creating a Mesa Community College email account and logging their experiences in Canvas.

There are two Internship classes you can take through MCC and earn a total of 6 Credits. The courses are GBS270AC (Business Internship) and MGT270AC (Management Internship) In order to complete these courses you have a total of four assignment requirements.

Discussion Post - post to the discussion board in Canvas letting everyone know where you are working and the type of work you are doing.

Midterm requirements: Create a one page Word document or .rtf file and post it in the assignment area of Canvas. 20 points total possible.

The one-page paper will be on either subject.

  1. An experience you have learned about customer service while working at The Walt Disney Company.
  2. A networking opportunity you have had with someone in a mid to executive level within the organization.

Final Project: Interns will create a final presentation on their experiences. Be creative! This can be a PowerPoint presentation, a video, a podcast, an interactive photo album, a journaled blog, or anything thing else you might want to use to describe your experience. Use pictures or anything else you would like to share.

While working in entry-level roles, this truly unique program allows participants the opportunity to:
