As a component of Mesa Community College, students can spend a semester as an intern at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, Florida or at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, California as a Disney College Program participant. Interns will work closely with their instructor by creating a Mesa Community College email account and logging their experiences in Canvas.
There are three requirements to completing your internship.
Send an email to your instructor within Canvas upon your arrival to say how everything is going, where you are located, and a current phone number where the instructor can get in touch with you.
Midterm requirements: Create a one page paper on how things are going with the internship, the courses you are taking, and your experiences so far in the program.
Final Project: Interns will create a final presentation on their experiences. Be creative! This can be a PowerPoint presentation, a video, a podcast, and interactive photo album, a journaled blog, or anything thing else you might want to use to describe your experience. Use pictures or anything else you would like to share.
