The Tribal HomeOwnership Coalition of the Southwest (THOCSW) Construction Trades Scholarship was established to support Native American students preparing for careers in the construction trades. Created by the Tribal HomeOwnership Coalition of the Southwest, this scholarship helps develop a skilled workforce dedicated to addressing housing and homeownership needs in tribal communities throughout the Southwest.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be pursuing a Certificate of Completion at Mesa Community College in one of the following programs:
- Have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
- Be able to upload evidence of tribal enrollment.

The 2026-2027 Tribal HomeOwnership Coalition of the Southwest (THOCSW) Construction Trades Scholarship application is now open. Eligible students are encouraged to apply for scholarship consideration for the Fall 2026 semester.
