In addition, the development of listening and performing skills through dictation, sight-singing and keyboard harmony. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MTC101 or permission of Instructor. |

Course Notes: MTC105 requires the following competencies: Ability to read bass and treble clef notes, ability to draw all major and minor key signatures and scales, ability to identify all intervals, basic chord qualities and basic rhythmic patterns and meters. All music majors and others interested in MTC105 can take the Music Theory Placement Recommendation Exam at www.mc.maricopa.edu/music. Corequisite is MTC106. |
