ART142 Introduction to Digital Photography 3 Credits

Fundamentals of digital photography. Includes camera operations, exposure techniques, introduction to digital output, and theory of digital photography. Prerequisites: None.

Course Notes: Information: 480-461-7524 or see the Art Department website at www.mc.maricopa.edu/dept2/art/. It is recommended that students with little or no computer experience or those not familiar with Macintosh computers complete ART 100 prior to enrolling in ART142. ART142 is required for the Certificate of Completion in Digital Art: Digital Photography. It is also required for the AAS Digital Arts Digital Photography Track. A DSLR camera is required.

Students in this class will be provided an Adobe Creative Cloud account tied to their MEID username, for home use on PC or Mac computers (smartphone or tablet mobile devices are not supported) during the duration of this course. Students should review the minimum configuration requirements to run Adobe CC on their personal device at:
