Often the first medical professionals on the scene, EMTs possess the foundational skills needed to help in a variety of emergencies and life-threatening situations. Their education forms the foundation for all other levels of emergency care providers, including paramedics. Successful completion of Maricopa Community Colleges’ entry-level emergency response training program qualifies you for state EMT certification as sanctioned by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Get credit for your industry training. MCC offers Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) for students with existing industry certifications, licenses, and approved corporate training. Access the form below and attach proof of training/certification when you submit your request.
