TruWest Credit Union Supports the MCC Mesa Market with Thanksgiving Food Drive

MESA, Arizona -- Nov. 17, 2020 -- TruWest Credit Union employees are feeding Mesa Community College students this holiday season by hosting a food drive.

TruWest Credit Union donates food items for student Thanksgiving food boxesGenerous TruWest employees donated enough food items to provide 50 food boxes that will give MCC students the opportunity to have a nice holiday meal. The food boxes supplied by TruWest contain Thanksgiving essentials such as stuffing mix, instant potatoes, bread mix, canned veggies, macaroni and cheese and paper goods.

Cash donations from TruWest aided in the purchase of grocery gift cards so students may purchase additional items.

Students may request a Friends and Family Celebration Box to be picked up during the week of Nov. 16 - 20, by visiting the Resources & Services section of the Virtual Student Life Center (mesacc.edu/student-life).

“We are forever grateful for the continued generosity of TruWest employees,” said Beth Ann Wright, Program Coordinator of MCC Student Life. “TruWest’s support of the wellbeing of our students is truly a Thanksgiving blessing.”
