“MCC Career and Technical Education courses continually evolve with leading-edge practices and knowledge provided by advisory boards of local industry leaders,” said Michael Voss, MCC Dean of Instruction, Career and Technical Programs. “The board members stress the need for their future employees to have the skills and abilities to do a job in addition to basic, good employee skills. Our instructors embed the development of ethics, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, organization, teamwork, CTE 4 Me video linktechnological literacy and personal and professional responsibilities in the curriculum.”

In addition to instruction and labs, many MCC CTE programs include internships and other opportunities for students to network within local industries.
