Veteran Services at Mesa Community College is honoring U.S. troops with a moment of silence and flag-raising ceremony 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Veterans’ Rose Garden at the college, 1833 W. Southern Ave.
The garden entrance is the driveway closest to Dobson Road on Southern.
