Mesa Community College’s Arizona Advanced Manufacturing Institute (AZAMI) is hosting a Digital Fabrication-STEM Guitar Building Workshop this week. This National Science Foundation (NSF) project trains high school and community college faculty in the development, use and integration of guitar building as an instruction tool. Participating educators spend an intense week engaged in student-centered learning activities while building a custom electric guitar, relating its design and fabrication to specific science, technology and engineering and math (STEM) topics.
