Former Major Leaguers host clinic at Mingus

MCC alum Ken Phelps leads free All-Stars clinics along with several fellow MLB alumni. A recent Verde Independent article features a recent clinic hosted at Mingus Union High School in Cottonwood, Ariz. 

Ken Phelps, a 2016 MCC Hall of Fame Outstanding Athlete Honoree, played Baseball for MCC in 1974 prior to his 11-year career in Major League Baseball. His career highlights include a World Series Championship in 1989 with the Oakland A’s and the American League record for the fastest to reach 100 home runs.
