Coverage: MCC featured in four June ​Maricopa Now segments

The June edition of Maricopa Now​, a monthly Maricopa Community Colleges Television magazine show, ​​features four Mesa Community College stories.

MCC general business instructor Dan Piercy was featured along with business students Lorde Chris Cole, Jeffrey Schaper and Brooke Williams in a segment about Green Flag Mesa, a joint venture between MCC and the Mesa Chamber of Commerce meant to help student-run businesses get off the ground. This segment begins at 4:43.

The Immersive Total Patient Management Experience combines Nursing, EMT, theater and film and Psychology students in a two-day event that simulates real world medical emergencies. This includes interviews from Adriana Diaz from Theater and Film, Ed Lipinski of the Psychology Department and Justine Willman, Nursing faculty. This segment begins at 7:00.​

MCC's ​accredited ArbNet ​arboretum status ​was features interviews with MCC​ h​orticulture student Thomas Emery, a​lumni Tom Bulinski and plant biology faculty professor Steve Priebe talking about the importance of MCC's ArbNet designation and the work that went into obtaining accreditation. This segment begins at 22:40.​

Adam Allison, a former MCC student, was featured for his appearance on the Food Network show Chopped. The segment includes an interview with Dr. Richard Toler, MCC Occupational Business Director. This segment begins at 25:44.​
