For our next meeting of the semester, we will cover the problem of evil: That is, if a perfect God exists, why is there (so much) evil? We will explain the assumptions around this issue, why this problem is significant, give Leibniz's defenses against the problem of evil, and lastly give objections against Leibniz's defense. Then we'll discuss it! We hope to see you there!
