We Care Wednesday is a food distribution event that takes place on the first Wednesday of every month at the Southern/Dobson campus, and the third Wednesday of every month at the Red Mountain campus. The food distribution events take place from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., at both locations, and is open to all students, staff, and community members in need of food assistance.
What is the impact of We Care Wednesday?
- During the Fall 2025 semester at the Southern & Dobson campus, we distributed 13,562 pounds of food to 381 Households, and served 1,169 Individuals!!
- During the Fall 2025 semester at the Red Mountain campus, we distributed 14,274 pounds of food to 268 Households, and served 861 Individuals!!
Southern & Dobson - The events for the semester are: February 4, March 4, April 1, May 6 and is located in the Kirk Student Center (KSC 35S) - Navajo Room.
MCC Red Mountain - The events for the semester are: February 18, March 11, April 15 and is located off Red Mountain Way between the Mesquite and the Desert Willow buildings.
