Mesa Community College presents The New Guard Big Band featuring McClintock High School Jazz Band and After Five (MCC Vocal Jazz)
May 6 at 7 pm at MCC Performing Arts Center
The New Guard Big Band is Phoenix’s premier jazz orchestra, comprised of the most talented and in-demand musicians in the Valley. Focusing primarily on the works of Count Basie and his Famous Orchestra, this 17-piece ensemble (managed and rehearsed by Kevin Tangney) is a musical freight train full of swagger and swing.
