Join us for a Civic Action Hour event, where we're diving into the exciting world of Live Music Sustainability. Maria Brunner, of nationally acclaimed charitable group, Musically Fed, will be teaching students how to make the music industry greener and how to help put an end to hunger in our communities. It's a chance to be a part of something bigger, meet like-minded peers, and build music industry and civic engagement skills.
Ms. Brunner, founder of Insight Management and a marketing expert, has over 20 years of experience in the music industry. As the visionary behind Musically Fed, Ms. Brunner has partnered with major festivals, venues and artists like Lollapalooza, Innings Festival, Live Nation, AEG Presents and the Rolling Stones to repurpose thousands of pounds of unused food to help support thousands across the country from Phoenix to Chicago to Nashville.

You're invited to join Music Business Faculty and the Center for Community and Civic Engagement for a virtual lecture and chat with Maria Brunner where well explore how working with the live music community can help inspire sustainable music practices and end food insecurity. Music Business student, Aly Masaquaptewa will also share her experiences of being a student intern and how working with Musically Fed has helped her build a successful career in live event management.
Ms. Brunner will share back-stage insights from some of the worlds biggest tours, artists and venues and her knowledge and experiences in music marketing and sustainability; leaving you motivated and ready to take action!
