Mesa Community College Music Department Presents: Jazz/MPJE Jazz Concert with guest The ASU Latin Jazz Band

Jazz Big Band Lovers! You Won't want to miss this one! It is Jazz night at the PAC with The ASU Latin Jazz Band to start out the concert with the best of African-Cuban roots. MPJE, is following up and is made up with professional musicians and educators from around the valley. Closing out with MCC Jazz Band performing the music of Women Jazz featuring the music Toshiko Akiyoshi, Maria Schneider, Mary Lou Williams and Elaine Elias .
The MCC Jazz Band has a long history of continued success. Under the direction of MCC alum and instructor Paul Brewer, the MCC Jazz Ensemble continues to promote jazz at a high level throughout the Valley.
The MPJE Jazz Ensemble with Artistic Director and Piano Extraordinaire, Nick Manson is made up of professional musicians and educators from around the valley.
