His dedication to his alma mater has not waned over the years. His facilitation of donations of drop pipe, plate steel, and thousands of pounds of material to MCC’s Welding Program has helped students develop their skill sets in preparation for entry level employment.
As the American Welding Society Arizona Section District 21 Director, he led initiatives like the “Halls of Knowledge” scholarship endowment, created to support students and advocate for the skilled workforce to ensure that blue-collar careers are respected and supported.
Nicholas continues to be a vital credit to the college, exemplifying the transformative impact MCC has on its students and the broader community. His AAS degree from the college served as the foundation for his professional journey, launching his career in welding and instilling a profound sense of purpose and a desire to give back.
