MCC recognize's the Mesa Chamber of Commerce for its advocacy, leadership, and long-standing partnership with the College.
The Mesa Chamber’s steadfast collaboration with MCC over the years includes initiatives such as the Green Flag Mesa Business Center, providing students with office space, business tools, and the resources needed to launch a new business venture in today’s competitive environment. The annual 24 Hour Business Challenge provides competitors 24 hours to develop a business plan for a new or existing business. Other initiatives that have been part of the Chamber’s Business in Education Foundation have included MCC’s Technopreneur certification as well as ongoing promotion of MCC’s programs, news, and events.
Sally Harrison, President and CEO for the Mesa Chamber, serves on MCC’s President’s Advisory Council and specialty groups such as our 60th Anniversary Community Advisory Committee. She regularly helps to promote MCC by opening up opportunities, with recent examples being appearances on Mesa Morning Live and the opportunity to share 60th Anniversary memorabilia following the Mayor’s State of the City address.
Sally, the Mesa Chamber’s advocacy and leadership have not only empowered students but have helped to boost our local economy. Thank you for being a champion of student success and community vitality.
