Focus is on the special needs of the older adult client in the acute and long-term care settings, and basic care skills and procedures. Provides opportunity for the development of clinical competency in the performance of selected nurse assisting skills and procedures through participation in the care of clients. Prerequisites: Reading and math assessment as well as completion of all required Health and Safety documents. |
