What bachelor's degrees are offered at Mesa Community College?

We offer a Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics and Programming and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education - Dual Language. Additional bachelor's degrees are offered at other Maricopa Community Colleges.

Is financial aid available for bachelor's degrees at MCC?

Yes. Our bachelor's degrees are approved for federal financial aid programs. Please visit Financial Aid for more information. Additional scholarships are also available for the Early Childhood Education - Dual Language program.

Can I earn my bachelor's degree online or from another state?

Not at this time. Both of our bachelor's programs require at least some on-campus classes.

Do I have to complete an associate's degree first?

No. But if you are currently pursuing an associate's degree in another major we recommend you first speak to an advisor before declaring a bachelor's degree major.

If you are interested in the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education - Dual Language you are encouraged to complete the Associate in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, as the majority of the classes are built into the bachelor's program. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics and Programming does not currently have a built-in associate's degree.

How much is tuition?

For Maricopa County residents, tuition is $97 per credit for 100-level and 200-level classes and $145.50 per credit for 300-level and 400-level classes. There is also a $15 registration fee per semester. Detailed rates are listed on our tuition and fees page.

Where will I take classes?

Our bachelor's programs offer classes online, at the Southern and Dobson campus and at the Downtown Center. Some on-campus classes will be required.

Do I need to be bilingual to complete the Early Childhood Education - Dual Language program?

No. You do not need to be proficient in a language other than English.

When will the upper-division classes be offered?

Early Childhood Education - Dual Language will begin offering 300-level classes in fall 2023. Data Analytics and Programming will begin offering 300-level classes in fall 2024.
