Sarah Moravitz, M.Ed., came to MCC with skills from the boys’ and girls’ all-state championship teams at McClintock High School where she also ran varsity track and played varsity softball. Sarah was on the inaugural MCC women’s soccer team in 1996 and on the ACCAC First Team. The MCC 1997 team won the ACCAC Championship. Both seasons, she was named Junior College All-American, team captain, MVP and was tied for leading goal scorer as a defender. She went on to be team captain and MVP at Idaho State on the team winning All American and All Conference titles. A top sports achiever, Sarah’s co-ed team won the 2011 National Dodgeball League World Championship.

Sarah has been a teacher and administrator at Tempe High School for nearly 20 years where she excels at encouraging students to succeed and reach their full potential. She coached the Varsity Girls Soccer Team from 2005 through 2016 and the Varsity Girls Badminton Team from 2007 to present. She was the Badminton Coach of the Year in 2009. She also taught at Altadena Middle School where she coached boys and girls soccer from 2002-2005. Born and raised in Arizona, Sarah is a political and social activist including serving on the Board of Boxer Luv Rescue for more than 15 years.
