The students will have the opportunity to interact live with the instructor and all other students during this online class meeting. There are assignments and activities that are required outside of class time. This class is one of two classes that help prepare you for the VMware Certified Professional Datacenter Virtualization (VCP-DCV) certification. These classes should be taken in the following order: CIS197 (related to the vSphere Foundations Exam) CIS198 (related to the VCP-DCV Exam) After successfully receiving a passing grade, you can receive a voucher which provides proof that you attended a certified course, which meets the VCP certification requirement to "Attend one of the required training courses." After successfully completing these two certification tests using at least one of the vouchers provide with the course, you will earn the current VCP-DCV certification. The vouchers also provide the student with a discount on the cost of the exam. Students may contact robert.danielson@mesacc.edu for more information about the class.
