As life in the 21st century becomes more hectic and stressful with each passing year, staying healthy becomes more and more difficult.
The Health Science program at MCC is ideal for the student who wishes to pursue their healthy-lifestyle interests. Our program provides you with the academic knowledge and professional skills you need to transfer to a four-year university or enter the workforce in a career in a related field.
The Health Science program includes the following areas of study:
Healthy Lifestyle Coaching
Prepares students in lifestyle intervention strategies. Lifestyle intervention is an evidence-based, cost-effective, low-risk approach to the prevention, risk reduction, and management of chronic diseases. Careers include health educator, hospital cessation/intervention programs, health communication, and lifestyle coaching, to name a few.
Pre-Professional
Prepares students who plan to attend medical, dental, veterinary, pharmacy, or naturopathic school, just to name a few.
