Examination of the role of prejudice, stereotyping and cultural incompatibilities in education. Emphasis on teacher preparation (preservice and/or inservice) to offer an equal educational opportunity to students of all cultural groups. Prerequisites: None. |

Course Notes: While not mandatory, during this course students will have the opportunity to conduct a minimum of 20 hours of field experience in a P-12 classroom environment, often requiring an IVP fingerprint clearance card.
