EDU221	Introduction to Education						3 Credits
Overview of the historical, political, economic, social, ethical, and philosophical factors that contribute to the complexity of the education system. Opportunity for students to self-reflect and assess their interest and suitability for a career in teaching. Prerequisites: None.
Course Notes: During this course students will conduct a minimum of 30 hours of field experience in a P-12 classroom environment, often requiring an Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint clearance card.
