He has been a proud MCC Thunderbird for the last 12 years where he manages a team of career navigators in the area of career and technical education and workforce development.  Dr Becerra is an art enthusiast with a passion for painting. He is self taught and has painted with acrylics for the past 25 years. In art, Dr Becerra finds a release of his creativity, thoughts, pain, happiness as well as an expression of his identity and his purpose.

Richard Rozinski

Richard Rozinski grew up in Northwest Indiana just outside of Chicago which was deeply embedded in the steel industry. The heavily industrialized area was visually stimulating with all the shapes of factory machines and equipment. He spent his formative years in Chicago, visiting art museums, galleries, and university art exhibitions, deepened his attraction to the broad spectrum of shapes and colors.  He began taking art classes at Scottsdale Community College in the early 80s and continued his education at Arizona State University, studying sculpture and achieving his BFA in sculpture metalsmithing.  Richard has taught blacksmithing in the welding department at MCC for five years and at Mesa Arts Center and has shown his sculpture internationally along with many of the foremost art communities around the country.  He currently lives in Gilbert.
