MCC will be sponsoring our 19th annual Model United Nations simulation for high school students
Our conference is a two-day educational simulation for High School students. We will simulate the General Assembly, 1stCommittee, United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the Security Council.
A lunch and dinner will be provided. There is no school fee. A delegate fee of $50 is charged to offset food costs.
Country Selection begins August 18th, 2017. Your high school advisor will email all school entries together.
TED Talk - Model UN
Dr. Dille will come to you campus to discuss research tips, policy statement requirements, and judging criteria. Program advisers should contact Dr. Dille to set up an appointment.
Deadline for 1st draft review submission is November 3, 2017. Professor Dille will review and return ONE draft per student if submitted by this date. This service is only provided to schools with new programs.
Country Packets must be completed and submitted by January 12, 2018. Only delegates who have a complete submission will be credentialed at the conference. A complete submission includes apolicy statement for each agenda item and one resolution for one of the agenda items.
