Come Form Away

MCC Performing Arts Center - April 2 – 11, 2027

On September 11, 2001, 38 planes were unexpectedly diverted to a tiny, isolated town in Newfoundland, doubling its population overnight—and what followed became one of the most remarkable true stories of human connection ever told. Come From Away, the Tony Award-winning hit musical by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, takes audiences into the heart of Gander, where a terrified group of global travelers and the generous locals who opened their homes discovered hope, music, and lasting friendship in the darkest of moments. Powered by a soaring, Celtic-infused folk score and driven by a breathtaking ensemble cast, this uplifting masterpiece celebrates the extraordinary warmth of the human spirit when the world needs it most. Heartwarming, energetic, and profoundly moving, Come From Away is an unforgettable theatrical journey that will leave your heart full and your faith in humanity restored.

Acclaimed as a modern dramatic masterpiece, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is the fabulously inventive tale of Hamlet as told from the worm’s-eye view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Shakespeare’s play. In the great Tom Stoppard’s best-known work, this Shakespearean Laurel and Hardy finally get a chance to take the lead role, but do so in a world where reality and illusion are entwined, and where fate leads our two heroes to a tragic but inevitable end.
