Painting is my way of listening inward - through transparent layers of acrylic paint, I create color fields and shapes that represent inner consciousness. Rooted in lunar cycles, my work invites calm, connection, and pause. - Capri Landi

Originally from Chicago, Ms. Landi earned Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Design at Columbia College Chicago, where she developed a strong foundation in design principles and material exploration. Her commitment to creating inclusive, transformative learning environments was strengthened through her graduate studies at Arizona State University, where she completed her Master of Education degree with an emphasis on Teacher Leadership and Supervision.  Ms. Landi has been teaching secondary visual art in the Phoenix metro area since 2003 and will be engaging with student artists at a gallery talk on September 25th.
