Picnic
About this event
Directed by MCC Theatre and Film Department faculty member Kevin Dressler, Picnic is the story of a small Kansas town and the women who reside there. When handsome drifter Hal arrives, their lives are turned upside down. When Hal and Madge fall in love, their passion is strained by Madge’s betrothal to another man and Hal’s drifting ways. A snapshot of America in the 50s, Picnic is a tale of desire and restraint that tugs at the very fabric that holds comfortable society together.
